About Me 

Hello! I’m Mahati Ramachandra, a scientific illustrator with a deep passion for the intersection of science and art. I've loved art since I was a child, and you can still find traces of my early creativity in the doodles scattered across (most of) my brother's books and the countless handmade cards I crafted for every occasion. Academically, the intricacies of biology deeply fascinated me and led me to pursue it further. After earning my Master's in Medical Microbiology, I realized there was an entire world of science I wanted to share with others, but in a way that could be engaging and accessible. Throughout my academic journey, my love for scientific art only grew. Today, I’m dedicated to blending my passion for science and art to present scientific ideas in an innovative way, demonstrating that science can be both beautiful and captivating when embraced, and fostering a deeper appreciation for the science that shapes our everyday lives.
